Product research
Free TikTok Shop analytics first
Picking a product from TikTok Shop analytics tools means trusting an estimated GMV. Start with Seller Center for your own shop, use EchoTik's free plan to browse the market, and add FastMoss or Kalodata when you need creator contacts, ad or LIVE research, or a longer history.

What counts as a TikTok Shop analytics tool
Shop Analytics in Seller Center is your own store's revenue report. TikTok's Seller University describes the module as the place that replaced Homepage and Growth Insights, built to show the shop's core revenue metrics. On the US version, GMV equals the list price multiplied by the number of items sold, plus the shipping fee, after seller-funded discounts, platform-funded discounts and tax are taken off. TikTok calculates that at payment, and canceled and refunded orders stay in the total. Commission-related metrics sit in the Affiliate Center, on that same page. Our guide to GMV in Seller Center shows where that module sits.
Kalodata, FastMoss and EchoTik estimate sales at other shops, on other products and for other creators. A seller who only needs last week's revenue on their own listings already has that figure in Shop Analytics.
What you get from a free TikTok Shop analytics tool
Shop Analytics is included with a seller account. It shows your revenue, your orders and the commission view in Affiliate Center.
EchoTik lets you keep browsing product lists after a Kalodata or FastMoss trial ends, with a cap on how many lists you can open. Market dashboards and influencer contact emails are on EchoTik's paid plans.
Kalodata and FastMoss each offer a seven-day trial. FastMoss's pricing page says new users get that week with no credit card and no auto-renewal, and with no charge afterwards. Kalodata's trial runs seven days without a credit card as well. After that week, wider browsing means paying, or staying on EchoTik.
When a TikTok Shop product research tool is worth the fee
A paid plan earns its fee when you are studying a competitor's shop, vetting a creator you have not worked with, or reading LIVE and ad libraries outside Seller Center. Creator contacts, and a longer history than the free list views allow, come with that paid plan too.
EchoTik's data note says the figures come from public channels and should not be used for partner commission settlements or performance evaluations.
Sellers discussing these dashboards treat the GMV figures as estimates. Public replies attributed to Kalodata describe creator-level numbers as modeled, and point to a product GMV filter for a closer view. Other sellers report a Kalodata sales total that does not match Seller Center on their own listings. Our methodology page explains the split: prices and limits come from vendor pages, and user reports show whether an estimate matches a shop's own orders.
Kalodata for a longer look at sales history
FastMoss's public comparison lists Kalodata at 200 million products, 250 million creators, 1,000 days of history and 15 TikTok Shop markets. Those figures are a competitor's description. The English pricing page asks you to sign up before showing prices, so the monthly rate shown here is for the Japan Starter plan. The Kalodata review and the pricing page spell out the plan limits.
Kalodata

Shoplus is closed
While Shoplus was live, its FAQ listed influencers, products, videos and shops as the main screens. It stopped operating on 19 September 2026. Refunds to active paid users ran until 4 October. Our Shoplus review documents the shutdown and that refund window. The alternatives page names a current tool for each of those screens.
After the product is chosen, creator outreach is next
Once you have chosen a product in one of these dashboards, you still need creators to promote it. Choosing invite caps, per-shop billing and retention tools is a separate decision. Our affiliate software guide compares those tools by how they count invites. The main TikTok Shop tools roundup ranks each tool by the job it does.
My take
I'd start with Seller Center and EchoTik. I'd move to FastMoss for creator contacts or ad and LIVE research, and to Kalodata when the Japan Starter price fits a history-first search.
