Head-to-head

FastMoss vs EchoTik plans

You are down to FastMoss and EchoTik for TikTok Shop product research. The two tools serve different purposes.

By Nora Whitfield, editor covering seller tools and fee calculators. Updated 2026-10-21.

The short answer

Pick FastMoss if you need creator contacts, ad research and 90 days of history; pick EchoTik if you want a free tier, sub-$20 plans or higher Pro export and LIVE quotas.

FastMoss and EchoTik are built for different jobs. FastMoss's homepage sorts research into products, shops, creators, LIVE and ads, and the paid plans include creator contact views. EchoTik's pricing page starts with a Free plan for light use, then lists LIVE monitor allowances and export caps on each paid plan.

The limits for the paid FastMoss plans are on the FastMoss pricing page.

What you get on each paid plan

Each dollar figure appears once, in this table. The rows under the prices show the history window, contact views and LIVE quotas that come with each plan. FastMoss lists the Basic price in its comparison article. EchoTik's annual rates are in its column of the table.

On its homepage, FastMoss cites a 1,500-day database, 620 million products and 380 million creators. Basic lets you look back 90 days into that database. EchoTik's guide says FastMoss still has the larger database. The same page says EchoTik is ahead on price, with free access, faster onboarding and a Chrome extension. It also calls EchoTik about 80% cheaper.

What FastMoss Basic includes

The cheapest FastMoss paid plan includes a 90-day window, 150 category searches a day, search results capped at the top 300, 150 product-detail views a day in each category, and 5 creator contact views a day. That is what the Basic price in the table buys.

Pro raises those limits to 300 category searches a day, the top 1,000 search results, 500 product-detail views a day and 300 creator contacts a day. Those higher limits come with Pro.

Ads are a separate section. The homepage lists copying winning creatives beside product, shop, creator and LIVE research. The account covers five areas. A seller who only needs a product leaderboard can still open the ads section with the same login.

Five contact views per day are enough for a short list of creators you already know. Three hundred a day on Pro is enough to build a prospect list. If you need to export influencer emails, EchoTik puts that export on Enterprise. If you need to view contact details in the tool, Basic allows five of those views a day.

A new FastMoss account gets seven days. The pricing FAQ says no credit card is taken, and nothing renews or charges when the week ends. Use the week to see whether five contact views and the ads section are worth the Basic rate in the table.

EchoTik vs FastMoss on a smaller bill

EchoTik includes a Free plan for people who want to look around before paying. Selected paid plans include a 7-day unconditional refund. FastMoss offers a seven-day trial. The pricing FAQ says you are not charged when the trial ends, and you do not need a card to start.

History on EchoTik depends on the plan. Basic shows the last 30 days. Pro shows the last 90 days. A seasonal category such as gifts or outdoor gear needs more than the last month of sales before you order stock. On EchoTik, that longer window starts on Pro. Only Enterprise includes unlimited history. FastMoss Basic already includes 90 days. EchoTik reaches 90 days on Pro.

LIVE monitors are a monthly quota: 5 on Basic, 50 on Pro and 300 on Enterprise. A shop that sells through livestreams can choose a plan based on that quota. FastMoss names LIVE on the homepage with products, shops, creators and ads. The same price list states how many monitors you get each month.

Exports follow the same pattern. Basic allows 100 records a day. Pro allows 2,000 records a day, and one export holds at most 200 items. A longer creator or product list has to be downloaded as more than one file. Those files still count toward the daily cap.

Sellers often start from EchoTik's guide when they compare EchoTik with FastMoss. EchoTik's column matches its pricing page on the free plan and the refund. The FastMoss column is a competitor's summary. FastMoss's own article replies to guides that say it has no Chrome extension. The homepage links to a free extension. Both tools have one. Once both extensions are on the table, the price and the quotas above are the differences that remain.

Both GMV figures are estimates

FastMoss's comparison article says EchoTik and FastMoss both estimate TikTok Shop GMV and creator performance from public data. The number on either screen comes from what TikTok shows publicly.

A seller on r/TikTokShopSellersClub said FastMoss revenue runs high because refunded orders are excluded and the figure uses the list price instead of the discounted price. That is one report, and it names a mechanism. It does not supply a percentage for every category. These sources include no test of the same products in both tools on the same dates. Neither company publishes an error rate.

TokConnect's EchoTik review describes a check that works before you keep either paid plan. Look up a product whose real sales you know from your own Seller Center and compare the same 30 days. Run it on both subscriptions in the same week, on three or four products you already sell. The tool that ranks those products in the same order as Seller Center is the one to pay for.

A seller in a FastMoss versus Kalodata thread called EchoTik cost-effective. The thread is about FastMoss and Kalodata, so the comment never compares FastMoss with EchoTik over the same dates. Some sellers still keep EchoTik on a short list because of comments like that. The Seller Center check is the accuracy test.

If Kalodata is still in the running

This page is for sellers who have already narrowed the field to FastMoss and EchoTik. Kalodata vs FastMoss compares long product history with creator contacts. Kalodata vs EchoTik compares sales history with LIVE tools. The ranked list of seller tools is the TikTok Shop tools roundup.

Where I would start

I would pay for FastMoss when I need creator contacts and ad creatives in one subscription, and when a stock order needs the 90-day window on Basic. I would keep EchoTik when the budget comes first, or when Pro's LIVE monitor quota and daily export cap are the reason to pay.

The Free plan can stay open during the FastMoss trial. Use EchoTik to watch livestreams and FastMoss to open contact details. After the week, keep the tool that ranked your own products in the same order as Seller Center, and cancel the other. The full FastMoss review and the full EchoTik review cover each product on its own. Other head-to-heads are on the comparisons hub.

FastMoss: what holds up and what does not

What works

  • Product, shop, creator, LIVE, video and ad research in one account
  • Creator contact details on every plan, up to 300 a day on higher tiers
  • 7-day free trial with no card and no auto-renewal
  • Covers 20+ countries and regions, useful for UK and EU sellers
  • Free Chrome extension and AI tools for transcribing and rewriting video scripts

What to watch

  • GMV estimates run high: one independent test found them optimistic, so use them to rank products against each other rather than as forecasts
  • Entry tiers cap search lists at the top 300 records and detail views at 150 a day
  • Plan prices appear at checkout rather than on the pricing page itself

EchoTik: what holds up and what does not

What works

  • A Free plan that EchoTik's help center says stays free forever
  • All four plans and their limits on a public pricing page, with a 7-day unconditional refund on selected paid plans
  • A dedicated LIVE screen, plus monthly LIVE monitor allowances on Pro and Enterprise
  • A Chrome extension that overlays EchoTik data while you browse

What to watch

  • Data history is capped on the cheaper paid plans: Basic covers 30 days and Pro covers 90, so tracking seasonal trends requires Enterprise
  • Less independent coverage than Kalodata or FastMoss, and it publishes its own accuracy comparisons against them
  • Its sales and GMV figures are estimates, and reviewers recommend checking them against a product whose real sales you know

Where I would start

FastMoss

FastMoss is the pick if you want product, creator, LIVE and ad research in one tool and need creator contact details to start outreach yourself.

FastMoss vs EchoTik questions

Is EchoTik cheaper than FastMoss?
EchoTik prints yearly rates for Basic, Pro and Enterprise on its price list. FastMoss's own comparison article puts its Basic yearly rate above EchoTik Basic. Those figures are in the plan table on this page.
Which has more history on the cheapest paid plan?
FastMoss Basic keeps the last three months. EchoTik's cheapest paid plan includes the last 30 days. EchoTik matches the longer window on Pro. EchoTik's top plan is the one with no history cap.
Can either export creator emails?
EchoTik says Basic cannot view or export influencer emails, and that Enterprise can export influencer contact information. FastMoss counts contact views: 5 a day on Basic, 300 a day on Pro.
Are the sales numbers exact?
Both companies describe GMV as an estimate from public TikTok data. A seller report says FastMoss revenue runs high because refunds are omitted and the original price is used. Compare a product you already sell with Seller Center over the same 30 days before you rely on either figure.
Do both have browser extensions?
Yes. FastMoss links to a free Chrome extension from its homepage, and says so in its comparison article. EchoTik's guide treats its Chrome extension as one reason to pick it.
Can I use EchoTik Free alongside FastMoss?
EchoTik lists a Free plan for light use at no monthly charge, so it can stay open beside a FastMoss trial or a paid FastMoss plan. Use EchoTik for LIVE monitors and FastMoss for contact views.
