# See what Seller Center will pay out · GMV Ledger > Source: https://gmvledger.cc/guides/tiktok-shop-seller-center Seller guide ## See what Seller Center will pay out You just got into TikTok Shop Seller Center and you cannot find where the money and the creator settings live. Both sit in the left menu: Finances for statements and payouts, Affiliate for open collaboration. Updated 2026-10-21. ### Seller Center is the portal after the shop is approved Seller Center is TikTok's seller portal. The US login is [seller-us.tiktok.com](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/). If the application is still in review, [how to open a TikTok Shop seller account](/best#open-shop) covers the US screens. The ID and company papers for the US, UK and EU are in [what TikTok Shop asks before you can sell](/guides/tiktok-shop-seller-requirements). Approval leaves four tasks: adding a warehouse and a return address, listing at least one product, submitting tax information, and linking the shop to an official TikTok account. That registration section places them after the approval steps, in the order TikTok's US guide uses. ### The left menu on a new US shop Most of the daily work sits in a few areas. TikTok's US articles use the names that follow. Affiliate is where creator commissions are configured. [TikTok's setup article](https://ads.tiktok.com/help/article/how-set-up-an-open-collaboration-in-seller-center) tells you to click Affiliate in the left-hand menu. Rates, the performance score that gates new affiliate listings, and sample rules are in [Get TikTok Shop creators selling your products](/guides/tiktok-shop-affiliate-program-for-sellers). Finances holds statements, payouts and balances that have not settled. That area is where you download statements and where the wait before a payout shows up. Shipping settings, the order list and the handoff to whoever packs the parcel sit with orders. Whether that handoff should be Fulfilled by TikTok or your own carrier is a margin choice, and it is covered in [Fulfilled by TikTok or shipping it yourself](/guides/fulfilled-by-tiktok-vs-self-fulfillment). Listings, stock and the way into promotions sit with products. Account health and analytics are where the shop's performance numbers live. My Account holds the profile, any extra users and the warehouse settings saved at approval. A shop in the UK or the EU will see different labels. When a name on the screen does not match TikTok's US help articles, use that region's Seller University. ### Where TikTok Shop fees show up The referral fee is a line inside the settlement. TikTok's [US fee page](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge%5Fid=5988482086864682&lang=en) gives this formula: Referral Fee = Referral Fee Rate × (Customer Payment + Platform Discount − Tax). The category rate multiplies what the customer paid, plus a platform discount TikTok funded, minus tax. A platform discount is money TikTok contributes toward the price. The formula adds that amount into the base before the rate is applied, and it takes tax out. The same page says the calculation base includes the shipping fee paid by the customer. Category percentages, the US refund administration fee and the UK commission fee are in [TikTok Shop fees explained](/guides/tiktok-shop-fees). After an order settles, the daily statement shows how that payout was built. TikTok's [statement article](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge%5Fid=2470273945257771&lang=en) calls it a detailed breakdown of how the settlement amount for each settled order is calculated, including revenue, refunds, fees and adjustments. Until a statement exists, run the selling price, the postage the buyer pays and a creator commission through the [fee calculator](/calculators/tiktok-shop-fee-calculator). It applies this fee base to one order you plan to sell. ### How to export finance statements US sellers download statement and payout reports from Finances, then Statements, or from Finances, then Payouts. On that screen, click Export, choose the date range, then open Export History and choose Download. The settlement report downloads as an Excel file with five sheets, and the order-detail columns are in that file. Read those rows when you need the fee on a single order. Sellers who match a bank deposit to the Finance page describe the summary as hard to read. The home-screen sales figure and the Finance summary can disagree for reasons that all sit in the export and in the payout timing: when the settlement clock starts, which orders are still on hold, how reserves move, and what each order line says. Sellers in public threads read a lower On hold balance as money that has moved toward a payout, cleared a holding period, or changed because of a refund, a chargeback or an adjustment. ### Payouts on hold, and when they leave Orders that have not finished settlement appear under Finance, then On hold. The export article uses the plural Finances for Statements and Payouts. The [payout FAQ](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge%5Fid=2336057241700098&lang=en) uses Finance for On hold. Open whichever of those two words your menu shows, then open On hold for anything still unsettled. The settlement period starts when the order is successfully delivered, not on the order date. TikTok's [settlement article](https://seller-us.tiktok.com/university/essay?knowledge%5Fid=1167036928444174&lang=en) is where that rule is written. Under the dynamic settlement policy, TikTok Shop initiates payout 1 to 31 days after the delivery date. Automatic payout needs at least $1 in settlement. The deposit can differ from the statement total because of reserve movements. The payout FAQ gives the formula payout amount = statement amount + reserve amount. Read the statement and the reserve together when those two figures differ. ### Where affiliate settings live Open collaboration is how a product becomes available for creators to promote. From Affiliate, open Open collaboration, then Not added. Products you have not enrolled sit on that list. One pass can include up to 50 products. Affiliate is the word in TikTok's setup article. If the left rail on your shop uses a different label for that area, the following clicks are still Open collaboration, then Not added. It calculates the referral fee and the profit left after the commission you enter. All of them are listed on [seller guides](/guides). ### My take I'd start by exporting one statement and reading the fee line on a settled order, before treating the home-screen sales figure as money to spend. I'd skip adding products to open collaboration until the calculator shows the order still clears a profit after the referral fee and a creator commission. The menu paths, the formula and the payout window come from TikTok's US Seller University and its ads help. Use the label on your screen for the creator area, then open the list of products that are not in a collaboration yet. A UK or EU shop should follow that region's Seller University when the menu words differ. Why did On hold fall when nothing new hit the bank? Money can leave that bucket for a payout still in transit, a hold that finished, or a refund, chargeback or adjustment. Match the dates in the export to see which line moved. Where is the referral fee if there was no invoice? On the settled order, inside the daily statement.
